It still seems like this guy just doesn't get it. Compare these comments to Manziel. Even JFF is smart enough to speak the company line and "accept" his role as a rookie QB on a team, even though the guy he is behind has like 2 starts and the guy that McCarron has to pass has 2 playoff appearances.

He whined (reportedly) about his draft grade from the pundits, then it was reported that it hurt his stock. He then lasts to the fifth round. So what is his reaction to all this? Double down on the whining.

Someone needs to knock him upside the head and tell him that the NFL stands for Not For Long if he doesn't grow up real fast.

It's a hard fall from the top.

AJ should have practiced his interview questions with a professional.

I can see how this would look/sound bad. It could paint the picture that he is FAR too worried about others' opinion of him.

No shite?

Maybe AJ is a dude who thrives in conflict?

Hell, I don't know, he has brought a thunder
for a dude picked in the 5th rd.

I wish AJ the best. He was great for Alabama.

There is a fine line between confidence and hubris I guess. Nobody here was in those meetings, but, if the reports are accurate, I suppose he crossed it.

It will be interesting to see how he does in the NFL though. Playing backup for a few seasons could actually be a blessing in disguise for him. That used to be the way it was done.

McCarron keeps talking and ESPN keeps reporting.

We all give a frick, because it's a train wreck.

Even reasonable intelligent people sometimes lack wisdom and good judgment. With age comes wisdom and McCarron will learn that it's better to keep quiet

Saban did a good job of hiding this guy from the public. Ever since this dude's career ended at Alabama it's been a train wreck.
