Maybe Cam is just a decoy.

I remember someone on here saying that Cam could be just a diversion, that there was more to it. I have no idea if he is or not, but he is one hell of a player. If he is being used as a diversion---why?
It is evident that Lowder and a few of his peeps have lost a bunch of money.

I'd be willing to bet that even people as wealthy as these were hate losing money. I'd also guess they would do anything to make more, like the poker player who goes "ALL IN". Is there a bigger plan than just getting the best players. What comes with a SEC and BCS championship?
MONEY
Think about it. The push for the gambling bill failed. No money there. Just plenty of legal expenses.
This is the only reason I see that AU will not sit Cam. They have to win.

I don't know that I would say he is a decoy as much as I think he he is just collateral damage. I think you are right that this is about money but it has nothing to do with football money.
I think we will find out in time that a select group of individuals in the state are using the University of Auburn for their own personal gain. Don't be surprised if you find out that a lot of professional people associated with the University of Alabama have been taking advantage of the machine in place on the plains.
