i understand the sentiment as well as the decision to not allow him to follow Smart to UGA.
But walking out of a meeting, in any profession, is ridiculous.

People don't play for Saban because he is a stand up guy. He's a jerk but he is a great coach. Not sure what she is trying to do with all this media attention. Is she trying for a cash grab?

The meeting obviously wasn't getting anywhere. He met with them in the first place when he didn't have to. Neither side is budging. It's August. Nick Saban has other shite to worry about. He's been pretty clear from the jump that he's holding his ground on this. Smith would be wise to either sit out a year and play at Georgia or choose another school.

She's trying to force Alabama's hand through negative media attention.

Saban is pushing his luck here.There"s no doubt in my mind that Bama and or the SEC would lose this fight in a courtroom and what sucks about that is that any type of ruling would throw out ALL rules governing transfers.Which could open up a very bad can of worms.

He claimed its not in Smith's best interest to leave Bama. How does Saban know what's in his best interest unless he's spoken with Kirby and his staff about their plans for him. I would love to hear that bitch lecture Smith and his mother about how he knows more about what's best for him.
Bottom line is, it's not in Saban's best interest for Smith to leave, and that's all Saban cares about.
