What is going on with the women's program? 3 players and damn near the entire coaching staff have left town. Coach's interview on KSR did him absolutely zero favors today. Something stinks to high hell in Memorial Coliseum and it's not the chlorine from the pool.

Well, it can't be that he's tapping any of the players. Mitchell is a stand-up family man who is faithful to his wife.

Maybe he's Hitler in the locker room. I dunno.

He must have a crazy split personality. He's better with the fans than even Cal. I really hope it's just that he's too tough on his players and it's not some sort of sexual misconduct thing. It must be bad if players AND staff are jumping ship. I really like Coach Mitchell and hope this is a storm he can weather. That of course can change in Ln an instant when more details come out. He did terrible in that interview this morning.

In his interview today, it seems he's really struggled juggling a growing family and the leave of guys like Insell. He's pretty well known to be a hard arse to players and some have really thrived in that. I can say personally, A'dia Mathies told us on more than one occasion when she'd come visit that she loved playing for Matthews. It's an odd situation but if Elzy is coming back to coach under him I don't know that it's more than an isolated issue that snowballed.

Yeah I was glad to see she decided to leave Tennessee to come back. It really could just be a case of unrest amongst staff and players. It's the staff part that had me troubled. Players may not all like a hard assed approach, so I can understand that. But so many staffers as well...it can't just be rough practices.

Yeah, the worrisome part about this much unrest is that it tends to come back to the people in charge. This could be the start of a mass exodus that could send Mitchell to the unemployment line.

Its a shame that Mickie DeMoss hated being a head coach, otherwise Kentucky WBB would be a top ten program annually.

How odd ... I had no idea this was going-on but, he says there is no common theme as to why six players have left - but now the coaches leaving too?

Anyway, here's video: LINK

Matthew Mitchell is not on the hot seat. But there has to be a reason 6 players, 2 coaches and one recruit have walked away in less than a year.
