Of the 2 teams that posted not to get rid of him (1 was actually genuine, 2 were goobers), he has a winning record against both.

Funny huh?

Don't be fooled by the costume, and replace the batteries in the sarcasm detector.

I actually like him and think he is a good coach. I wonder sometimes about his "killer instinct."

Yep. Would be the GOAT USCe HC and Tennessee would give a left nut to have won as much as UGA has since Fulmer was let go.

I can see why outsiders (ie, people who don't watch every game he's every coached) might think that, but it's incorrect...as of late anyway.

Even as recently as 5 years ago, I'd agree with you. Very safe, very conservative. No real way to deny that. But starting around Murray's soph/junior year he kinda took on a new mentality. Since pruitt got here it's gone to a whole new level too.

I remember in 2010 when we lost to UCF, on our first drive we had it inside their 5 and kicked a FG. That was probably the most infuriated I've ever been with him in my life. Fast forward 1 year, we're in the SECCG playing a team that is clearly better than us, we stop them 3 and out, score first, then recover an onside kick. That's the kinda stuff we used to not do. Hell, last year in the Auburn game alone we a)successfully fake a punt (called back), b)successfully tossed a HB TD pass (called back), went for it on 4th down for a TD (david andrews gif).

He's been going for it on 4th a good bit lately, has been coming after kicks, pulling out a few more trick plays than usual.....I'm not saying he's some sort of insane gambler but those who say he doesn't have a killer instinct must not have watched any UGA football the past few years.

He for sure had a different attitude and energy level in the SECCG than I had seen out of him before. Would like to see more of that.
