You don't get it because you don't play them every year. It's not just the UGA team, their entire fan base protects this behavior also. For example, this thread is full of UGA posters who say the pre-game taunting would be justified had they won. But since they lost, it looks stupid now. News flash UGA, it's thuggery either way.

Every team is going to have a player like that. Georgia players looked immature and foolish for the way the treated Alabama as they entered the field.
They should have been focused on winning with their actions instead of false bravado.
As far as Richt. He does seem like a good guy in real life, and do not think he is a hypocrite. I just think he has a hard time controlling some of these guys... and it is not like he is the only coach who has to deal with this issue.

There is a slight difference here, there are Suh like dirty plays in football during the game.
But the pregame and post play taunting is a CMR signature over many years and many different assistants, he's the common denominator. With a different coach I doubt these same UGA players would do any of that.

Just as with AU, we've beaten UF 3 out of last 4 times we've played.
