You need to play every year like we do to fully appreciate how classless they are. The bench emptying to run into end zone in 2007 (Richt was getting a lot of heat for us beating his sorry arse all the time), the fights in that game and the next six years were bad.

Spikes was accused of poking his fingers into RBs Washaun Ealeys facemask...but the real truth is that Ealey had started spitting at Gators when they tackled him to the ground. My wife has worked a lot with developmental problem children and she learned sign language and reading lips years ago. She watched the 2009 or 2010 game and told me what the UGA coaches were saying to their players...we had been beating the shite out of the buttsniffers for years and Richt had to do something..he did....the coaches were screaming at their players because of the arse whipping we were putting on them to go out and kick us in our nuts and calling them pussies and all kinds of stuff....so obviously fights started and it was getting out of control. In 2011-2012 it really got ugly and flags were flying. I remember 25 flags thrown in one game and 12 or so were personal fouls.

Remember that Richt learned from Diddy Bowden who was two face liar....his DC was the worse Mickey Andrews always looked like a freaking frog and had swallowed a gopher. He had his players hurt opponents on purpose many times, especially QBs...the ACC coaches complained about it. In one game that thug sob Dockett tackled our RB and in the pileup started twisting his ankle....video showed the reaction of Graham our RB. Who can forget his Heist Man contender caught cheating dept store of marchandise? The thuig Polish kicker Janikowski who was charged with assault (later was arrested while a Raider) and numerous other characters...the result? They all played...Bowden joked that Janikowski was not bound by US laws but international law? Huh? Or the infamous "its not like they shot the president".

This is the background that fostered Richt. His DC once did throat slash in OT game with us when our FG kicker lined up to kick...in plain view of our kicker and TV cameras...didnt work That same DC almost was in fist fight with Vandy asst coach. Richt did nothing. He deserves the turmoil.

So, if the trash talking devolves into a brawl, is Richt still morally exempt?

Reel gator 8: with all due respect, your wife is full of shite. That would be like me saying your coach covered up a murder in Gainesville.

You guys and FSU are the only 2 teams we see this shite from. Georgia fans used to have some pride in their program but now they have basically become FSU. The inmates run the asylum.

Obviously that would not look good for him. It's a poor enough reflection on him as it is.

However i think it's a bit of a leap to ascribe undisciplined player behavior to a complete failure of Mark Richt as a Christian. There are a lot better venues for demonstrating truly moral (or Christian) behavior and principles than a damn football field.

I've NEVER been comfortable with Richt's public mingling of religion and sport. But I've lost my skepticism about Mark Richt being a truly good hearted and Christian man in his every day pursuits.

ah too many upstanding players at LSU like JJ, Honey Badger (it was cute seeing him get in Gurley's face today), and Jamal Adams too busy practicing how to flop. Just wait till LSU plays anyone worth anything...say hello to 9-4 or 8-5, tdecline is real

At least we were good enough to have a decline. UGA just continues to underachieve. But yeah, I guess young adults smoking pot makes them thugs and bad people. that probably describes over half the undergrads at UGA.

The reason most people talk so much morals and God is usually because it's a mask. People who live by a real code of conduct don't feel the need to put up such a bullshite front.

I don't necessarily agree with this as a broad generalization. Certainly it is true in many cases. But Christianity as a whole is a religion that is as meant to be actively proclaimed as it is to be quietly pursued.

But it seemed like Bama entered awfully close to the Dawgs stretching.

What, were they stretching inside the visitor's tunnel? Should 'Bama have snuck in with the band?

For as tough as your team played on Saturday its amazing how soft you fans are with a bunch of players jumping up and down as your players run on the field.

This should come as a surprise to no one. The shear number of out of state players on their roster clearly indicates a lack of men in the state.

If it happens once, chalk it up to player immaturity and move on. If it happens twice, perhaps it's coincidence. But three times (at least)? That is a pattern of behavior. I posted in the other thread videos of UGA doing the same thing to Clemson and Louisville, and I'd be happy to post them again.

What is Richt's responsibility? Simple. He should grab his players' facemasks and tell them that if they ever think of doing that shite again, they will be running stadiums until they puke. If he said that after the Clemson game, and enforced it after the Louisville game, I guarantee you it would not happen again.

As it is, Richt provided that extra motivation that Alabama needed to destroy UGA. If we meet again in the SECCG, I hope Richt allows his clowns to do that again.

Hopefully for Georgia's sake, they learned the lesson. You don't disturb the beast.

I hope they storm the end zone again You know...I dont like Meyer but he sure taught Richt a lesson the following year in 2008 when we bitchslappede UGA all over the place, then with the ball and less than 2 minutes to go, what he do? He called three time outs to rub it in their faces...Helen could do nothing but stare at the ground. He knew he caused the revenge and it was sweet. His qb Stafford was almost killed in that game and he probably called his agent right after the final gun. left as a junior.

I completely agree with the sentiment expressed by OP, but I have to laugh at the specific example. It's like Jesus sat down, looked at his disciples, and said "Those who bark at opponents can never enter the kingdom of heaven. Woe unto those who bark."
