Where will he land?

quote:

Now that he’s been let go by Georgia, Mark Richt is unsurprisingly a sought-after commodity for college football programs in need of a new head coach.

Speaking on his weekly radio show with WSBRadio’s Chuck Dowdle, Richt said “about five schools” contacted him today already to gauge his interest in their respective vacancies.

Mark Richt to USCe, UVA, or Miami ???

Honestly, he's the perfect fit for any program that just wants to start winning again. He won't win a national championship but he sure as hell will make a program better.

UT should fire Lyle and upgrade with Richt but y'all cant financially afford to do that.

That would be the logical choice.

I don't think he wants any part of that mess. Look for him at Maryland or UVA. Or he'll sit out a year. I don't think Miami will ever be what they were. Home games 30 miles away from campus isn't exactly a recipe for college success.

Mizzou is actually a legitimate possibility.

I think CMR would do well there. Good fit for both parties imo

I hope he ends up at USCe. Just so UGA has to face him every year.

His Christianity could be a huge recruiting tool among black mothers in Miami. He is a good man and could do a lot of good to some of those kids in that community.

Yeah, I saw a report about that too. I guess it's time for Richt to kick the tires and see where he wants to go.

Richt would be an upgrade for Tennessee? They think its hard beating Florida now, it will darn near impossible with Richt. He had a bye week before the UF game this season and you saw how that turned out.
