Alabama has given up in points, the entire season so far, only one point more than Lsu has given up in 4 SEC games. And the same amount as Lsu has scored in 4 SEC games.

Points allowed:

Bama through 8 games - 65 pts
Lsu in 4 SEC games - 64

Points scored:

Bama through 5 SEC games - 209
Lsu through 4 SEC games - 65

Change the thread title. It's not that interesting.

This is LSU's 3rd game against teams currently in the BCS top 8.

This is Bama's 1st.

The only unit of football that has been better for Alabama than LSU is the offense. You know those 7 cheap points Bama gave up with 2nd string players against Ms State? LSU has given up a cheap td with less than 5 minutes left in the game in just about every game this season. For the first 55 minutes of the game, LSU's defense hasn't given up many points at all.

Now admittedly, LSU's offense stats have been poor, no excuses.

Fla and Au are offensive juggernauts.

Pretty impressive stat. Y'all haven't played UF, aTm or USCe but that's still impressive. I'm hoping it changes a bit after Saturday.

Too bad for Alabama this will be a football game and not a gymnastics meet.

I'm sure Bama's margin of victory will tighten up some after Sat. Should be about 1/3 of that, imo.

Our third string also lost the shutout against FAU.

I'm looking forward to it. Should be a great game all 4 qtrs.

Broken down by conference play:

Lsu is giving up 16 ppg
Bama is scoring 41 ppg

Lsu is scoring 16.25 ppg
Bama is giving up 8.8 ppg

Score should be around 27-13 Bama, give or take a couple points. Probably be mid 4th qtr when Bama takes total control and close up to that point. IMHO.

What should we talk about instead? Which car Saban drove today?

Texas A&M and South Carolina are capable of lighting up the scoreboard.

It ticks me off that Chavis doesn't seem to care about teams scoring late touchdowns. We've done it many times over the last few years. Saban keeps his defense playing hard all 60 minutes, and I respect that. Having said that, none of the STATS that Bama fans fap to at night mean anything come Saturday night. The only two numbers that matter are LSU points, and Alabama points. I'll take 3-2 Tigers, or 49-48 Tigers. Stats are secondary.
