Arkansas had just split a series with Memphis and had been swept by Vanderbilt and then followed that up by losing 2/3 to LSU at home.
Dave Van Horn did something...As Arkansas then went 7-0-1 in its remaining 8 SEC series...2-2 in the SEC tourney...swept Stillwater Regional...Hosted and won Fayetteville Regional to head to Omaha for the fourth time since 2004.
After starting 12-12 Arkansas finished 28-11
PM has been great for LSU, O'Sullivan great at Florida, but IMO Van Horn pulled out the best coaching performance in the league this season.

Rob Childress lost his #1 & #2 pitchers and led an A&M team, that wasn't predicted to make much noise, to a potential Omaha birth. I think he has a case.

Arkansas fans should be happy about going to Omaha... but didn't they just make a "act like you've been there before" thread about MO St.?

What does that have to do with the coaching job Van Horn did this season?
He's lost 17 players the last two years to the draft. Some how he pieced together a shitty pitching staff for his 6th trip to Omaha.

No, no it's not.
This team was shitty nearly halfway through the season.

I have a feeling this is directly related to your presence in this thread. Sorry your new coach blows arse while we continue to clinch berths in Omaha

Funny that this is being brought up by a recently absent South Carolina fan base.
