Just saw it scrolling on the bottom of NFL Network. He's never had a problem like this before has he? It sucks seeing all these good players missing so much time.

How's he on the verge? Seems like that would be cut and dry.

It said Dareus "could face". I think it's pretty much a fact now. I think it's just weed though.

What kind of shitty player's Union can't get weed off the banned substance list?

You ain't lying man. It's insane how some states make weed completely legal for recreational use and 50 miles one way you go to jail for having a seed on your floorboard of your car. It's just silly.

yeah. It's weed. Either failed or missed a test. He can appeal (which he should b/c it is supposed to be confidential until suspension is announced and b/c he's got about $3M he could lose in the first 4 games).

That's got nothing to do with the NFLPA allowing testing for weed. There is no law that says an employer has to test for weed.

When is the last time you heard of a Major League Baseball player getting suspended for smoking?

Arrested for Synthetic Weed

And suspended from last year's opener.

I know, but it's not the players union or the NFL's problem. Most companies prohibit drug use and nobody faults a company for firing someone, yet when it's an athlete, there are problems.

He is a grown arse man, he is making millions, he can wait a few years and smoke all the pot he wants

I don't disagree, I do understand why some do it because it truly does help with the pain at times but there are other ways that won't get you suspended. Don't feel sorry for any of them that get caught and suspended though.

Of course not! Obviously he's gone his entire life without ever using drugs and only now has just decided to give it a whirl.

I don't think he has a problem with weed, he has an issue with players being stupid and smoking it when they know it is a banned substance.

I'm sure that they could, but what are they willing to give up for it. It's all about bargaining. The NFL would let it go but they're not going to give it up for free.
