I applaud LSU for having unreal consistency without any horrible (6 or more loss) seasons in recent memory, but I'd argue that if LSU is up there Auburn should be as well. In the 2000s-present (LSU's most successful era) they won 2 NCs and played for a third. Auburn has won 1, arguably could've had another in 2004 and played for one in 2013.
I do see that consistently maintaining a 9-10 win floor is valuable though. That must be nice.

Didn't read anything but the OP. Let me guess, the other posts are either validating their teams "ranking" or bitching about said rankings. What is the difference between an individual on here or some media type doing a "ranking".
