I'm guessing he didnt play today. arky only has 7 points. No way a guy with a cannon arm and stats against cream puffs didnt produce today.

Bama's defense is pressing Ark's receivers heavily and Ark's receivers are not performing well against that kind of pressure.

Mallet will be a good, solid QB for Ark. There were a lot of dropped passes out there.

Exactly, at times they looked scared, nervous, etc....

They missed a lot of opportunities.

We won't face a tougher D or pash run the rest of the year than we faced today. Bama is for real, in a big way.

Our receivers heard footsteps all day and that led to several drops. Mallett threw a pick that bounced off a receiver's chest. That was his first all year.

And yeah, Mallett needs to mature. This is still only his second SEC start.

I'm more concered with our defense than I am Mallett.

This will be good for the offense, they will not play a better defense.

I'm concerned. So far RM has shown in two different games that he can't handle pressure. Both at the end of the game last week and several points in today's game when we needed RM to make plays he didn't come through. He's a third year player, so I'm not sure how much of that can be blamed on being nervous, I hope he learns to cope.

Was it just me, or did Arkansas drop a lot of passes? Credit goes to Bama though for getting pressure on him all game.

It's called shittin in ya mess kit. The receivers were worried about getting hit.

Seriously though, and that's a compliment to your D.

Actually, I was impressed with Arkansas' defense against the run. I know they loaded up the box, but other teams have tried that without success.

You're right, pressure on Mallett forced some bad and hurried throws. And our DB's covered well and made some hellacious hits that seemed to rattled Ark. WR.

I was glad Saban didn't try to score 42 pts. The guy sitting beside me said, "It's not a good idea to piss off Petrino." I agree.

I hate the Rammer Jammer cheer at the end of the game. It is classless to taunt an opponent, especially when they played as hard as your team did.

Good luck the rest of the season. Look forward to some great games in the future.

PS -- I'm surely glad that McFadden and Jones are in the NFL.

Yeah, Bama's D really got into pretty much all of the receivers head, joe adams looked unphased, but he was the only one. That was very cool of Saban to not take the 3 points. They looked like they were joking around with each other pre-game, anyone know if they're friends?
