The Mississippi State game is going to be a war! This game has worried me all season, and now even more.

Agreed. Dak is no doubt the best quarterback in the sec and his style gives our defense fits. I think it will be close but should be able to wear them down late due to their depth issues on defense. Should be a good game.

We're talking about the msu Bulldogs, not the Georgia ones.

We'll play bama tough... Not sure it'll be enough though

I'm just anxious to see what gameplan Mullen puts together. I think Saturday night just confirmed what everyone (except Les) already knew - don't run between the tackles vs. Bama. I think State will be in a lot of 3x1 and 5-wide with a lot of quick releases by Dak and just enough misdirection to keep them flat-footed.

Honestly I'd love to see Mullen put together a gameplan with LSU talent.

Mullen has played bama way too conservative in the past. I hope that's not the case this year. We need to come out and attack. We have nothing to lose so play like it

Not a problem. Fire Les and hire Mullen.

I agree. All of Bama's DBs will see plenty of playing time Saturday....and I'm not sure that's a good thing.

Not enough attention is being paid to Mississippi St. defense. This will be the game that Jake Coker must perform well for us to win. Last week, He played well within the scheme. He will have to carry us this week cause State will load the box to stop Henry!

I just don't see how you can say this.

He's faced Bama once as a starter. He was 27/48 for 290 yards. That's a 56% completion rate and a 6 yard per attempt rate. He also threw three interceptions.

He ran the ball 22 times for 82 yards - 3.7 yards per carry.

That's only marginal effectiveness against a Bama defense that was nowhere near as good as this year's unit and he also had more threats to help him last season.

Josh Robinson was their leading rusher with over 1,200 yards and averaged over 6 yards a carry. Dak was second with just under 1,000 yards and 4.7 ypc.

This season, Dak is averaging a slightly better 4.9 ypc BUT he's the team's leading rusher and is only 20 yards short of having TWICE the yardage of the teams second leading rusher.

He's very, very good but he's also their entire offense in 2015. That doesn't bode well at all against this defense. He's going to have a very tough day and will need the game of his life to consistently move the ball.

My only worry is that the Bama offense not fall back into the problems they had against Tennessee. If they don't, this game won't be close by the 4th quarter.

I'm tired of having a decent season up to the Bama game, hoping we beat Bama to get over some sort of hump, losing to Bama.

My hopes are at an all time low after watching your D line clown the massive LSU front. Our defense is better than LSUs, our QB is better than LSUs, but like Fournette, Dak is a one man show for now.

Mullen will try some crazy shite but it won't matter. We'll need turnovers, stomach bug, God, Anthony Dixon and the ghost of Jack Cristil to beat Alabama next Saturday.

What was that Danielson was saying about your nose guards Saturday night? Something along the lines of sometimes they don't even play against passing teams? I just wasn't familiar with what he was talking about, and not sure if that's a fact or if he was just running off at the mouth. I guess that's the downside of going to games, hard to watch the others and keep up.

Guys like you are why I rarely go to the Bama board. So he had almost 400 yards of offense against us last year but his playing style doesn't give us problems?

Our Defense will adjust better this year, and being at home will help. I just can't see past the nastiness of the Bama D line to find hope.
