hmmm...seems if you had 20 straight years of 11 win seasons the recruiting would be pretty good. should be able to win a natty after the deal is over. i'll go with number 2. so maybe natty in 21 years and 20 great seasons instead of 1 natty and eternal damnation.

Perhaps the Devil decides to majorly screw your team after the 20 year contract.

Remember, for teams who haven't won a national championship...option 1 would still be considered major success because (like someone said) titles trump all.

Ive always felt the loss of an appendage or digit is a good way to determine where you fall on the scale of football insanity.

I think a pinky toe is a given for any real football fan but it starts to get dicey when you start talking about an arm. Disability guarantees would have to be made for me to actually give an answer on that one.

I'd take 1. We're quite use to losing seasons in our history.

Auburn is a lock this season (in the playoffs)...get over it. Pure eliteness tends to do that to you. Stop worrying about it. 20 years? We only need 1 second left...we have proven it many times...over and over again. [UGA, Bama, and LSU]. Great games!

You obviously don't know that much about SEC Football.

Lay off, and deal with it. Talent Prevails.

As opposed to a clearly, declining Bama football program? You have failed over the years. Power is destroying.

You wanted it all...but got small success... in a very short frame of time.

That only means cheap entitlement... and forgotten victories.

Sad, really what Alabama has become. A thing of the past.

You have only acknowledged yourselves over these years as a "Good, Southern University"... yet, you have so much White Trash in this State to clean up, in your fraternities and sororities, that you need not attack others.

I thought you guys were Lawyers and Doctors at some point?

What a joke of a University.

It's not even a question. As someone else said, 20 years of 11 win seasons would do wonders for a program. Vandy would be on the map finally. It's also reasonable to expect that your team would be able to get to the championship game in this span if they're winning 11 or more games every year. Even knowing they would lose the game, the site of Vandy playing for a national championship in football (along with how the media would explode) would be priceless.

Although, an SC fan brought up if we could just cash in 20 losing seasons for option 1. If so, I would change the answer, obviously.

Neither, because I want my team to earn it, everything being legit.

But I'll play your little game for now since that's the point of the topic. I'd pick #2. Easily.

Pretty sure we already made the first deal so I'll give the second one a shot.

I can't. Just like I can't point out your national championship within that time frame (21 years)

so what you're saying is Georgia doesn't apply to either of the 2 scenarios given, which directly contradicts your first post. Brilliant!
