Mack Rhoades, former Mizzou AD, used Mizzou as a stepping stone

Mizzou fans wondered why he was so quiet during Mizzou search for a new football coach.

Mizzou fans delusionally thought "maybe Mizzou will hire Herman since Rhoades hired Herman at Houston" even though this was at the height of the BLM shite swastika scandal.

Rhoades told Mizzou fans that there was no real interest in the job even though chatter indicated that Matt Rhule was interested.

Rhoades hired Barry Odom and then he quit to become AD at Baylor.

Now, it seems, Rhoades has hired Matt Rhule at Baylor.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

The reason Rhoades was so quiet wasn't because he was dedicated to finding the right coach for Mizzou. It's because he was 1) setting himself up for a better job with Baylor, and 2) convincing coaching candidates which may have been interested in Mizzou to instead consider Baylor.

Well done, Mizzou!

Another "Mizzou" missed opportunity. So very "Mizzou"...

How does UK's taste from the 2 year in a row in football. Oh, have y'all even gotten close to a win on UK in basketball since joining the SEC? I'm drawing a blank.

Never said Mizzou knew Rhoades was a snake. I simply said it's clear as day now what Rhoades was doing during his time at Mizzou. He was wasting Mizzou's money, time, and future to set himself up for a job at another school while using Mizzou resources to recruit coaching candidates for another school.

If you don't think he courted Rhule while at Mizzou to eventually be hired Baylor (or whatever school he landed at)...you're a fool.

He used Mizzou's dime to search for another job where he would eventually hire a coach that should've seriously been considered for the Mizzou job.

Rhoades royally fricked over Mizzou during the most important coaching search in Mizzou's history.

Don't misunderstand me - I like Odom and truly hope he succeeds at Mizzou. Perhaps one day we'll look back and say Odom was a homerun hire. I truly hope that happens.

But his hiring didn't really make sense when there were FAR more experienced coaches supposedly available, Rhule being one of them. It's as if Rhoades didn't try to search for a homerun hire.

Now we know why.

But your post appears to blame Mizzou for being a dumbass with regards to Rhoades. Granted we do enough dumbassery shite but not with Rhoades.

I'm hoping karma visits Rhoades with quickness.

This post is beyond ignorant. If by stepping stone you mean, you 100% Knew you were going to lose your job and jumped back into your Texas network before the guilettine fell then yes. If that's the case Frank Haith used Mizzou as a stepping stone to Tulsa...just before the board was going to meet to "assess" the program and the NCAA wa s going to hammer his dirty assistants actions.

Mack was an interpersonal nightmare for many of our boosters. There's a reason our new AD has raised 4 times the amount of money for our new stadium addition project in 1/8 the time. When you see the boosters start to shut you out you better get out before you get thrown out.
