He is insufferable. Who is your favorite color commentator? There isn't a lot of color with Mack.

I think that may be your A&M bias. Mack is nice guy who provides insight. Yeah, he's not polished yet but he's better than a lot of others. Not great but not terrible either and even better than a lot of coaches that have been color commentators in the past. I'd put him in the innocuous category with the occasional insight.

Agreed and he will probably get better with experience. It's nice to have a coach as a color guy because some of the others are absolute idiots. For all his faults, Mack has never come across as an idiot and I appreciate that.
