I do not under any circumstances want the LSU football program to be shut down for any reason. Hoping and praying for you guys down in Baton Rouge, I want to continue to have you guys as a rival.

It's a empty political threat. Act like you're gonna get rid of the thing they love most, scare the dumb masses, and raise taxes. It will never actually happen

I'm sure you're joking, but this would actually probably work. If UAB can reverse course on a football program that was hemorrhaging money because of fan support and donations, LSU could do the same with 100x the fans.
