What conspiracy theory did he put behind it this week?

None from what I can see, just that it'll go to the best player on the best team. And he somehow said Hurts was the best player in the country. Which I don't really agree with.

He'll finish better than Leonard did last year. And this year, for that matter.

I remember back when Alabama fans used to shite all over the Heisman trophy as just being some kind of stupid beauty contest.

Of course that was back when they had none and Auburn had two.

Good times.

I'd still trade 10 Heisman winners for 1 National Title.

I told him he was coming across like a whiny bitch with the Bama privilege rants. He got really mad.

It is a beauty contest, and Bama has been fortunate to have a couple of beauties over the past few years. Congrats to Ingram and Henry.
But ask them what they're happier about winning, the Heisman or the NC.

He won't but Hurts stats are on par with the Ohio St quarterbacks stats and he has played a tougher schedule. Watson isn't just killing his stats either. If Jalen can become just average on throws 20 yards downfield then lookout. Our offense is elite without a deep passing game. With one it just wouldn't be fair.

it's a beauty contest where the rules change over time too.

I think of A.J. McCarron. Had his senior year been 10 years before, he would have run away with the Heisman easily. Multi-National Champion, senior, leading the #1 team for most the year, All-America look and a great "heart story."

Not really, LSU had a Heisman way before Alabama ever did.

As well as a national championship.

I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy. Oh but Bama fans were SO adamant about it.

He won't win this year but I wouldn't be surprised to seem him on all of the Heisman watch lists next year.

Love LSU Dad, btw.

Maybe not this year. He's a true freshman. But next year and the year after.
