Ouch. I would hate to be a WR at LSU right now. Terrible QB play, and now you lose your WR coach in February. Feel bad for Tyron Johnson.

I mean with the thread started about the Razorbacks and Shannon, chaney, etc. "rats from ships" ... Surely the same applies with the loss of their awesome DC and now the WR Coach of those talented 5* Players... makes sense!

We didn't really expect him to stay as long as he did. Been hearing he was looking for a couple of months. Good luck to him.

3 receivers drafted last year, one just won OROY in the NFL, no idea why any WR would ever come to LSU

I think it'd be a different situation if he was an out of state guy. Either way I think he had a closer relationship with Frank Wilson, so Adam Henry leaving wont sway him too far.
It is a big blow though since its not easy to find a good assistant coach who can recruit too. He pretty much developed OBJ and Jarvis Landry into the NFL Starters they are now.

I hope you don't expect the same results from here on out. Mettenberger to Jennings to Harris. I mean, how many shitty QBs can you recruit without getting fired? Luckily for the rest of the SEC, we will never now.
