Maybe if the idiotic schools/stadiums quit blasting every break in the action with shitty hip-hop/rap/urban music and appealed more to the ones that actually pay the freight (30-60 yr olds), they wouldn't have such a problem*?

*I realize that's not the only problem, certainly. But it's my "Get off my lawn" rant.

With them as the entertainment you may get more A&M fans at the game than Florida fans......

They're not too bad. They're way more relevant than I thought LSU could pull for a halftime show that's for sure.

It's going to be. A few months ago they were talking about attendance on SECN and they mentioned that this would be a thing in the coming years. More schools will start having national acts at halftime.

IMHO, I'd much rather see this than a selection melodies from George and Ira Gershwin played by a school band. I appreciate the marching bands, I really do but sometimes they play the crappiest music.

Grammy-nominated Texas country singer Pat Green and the Grammy-nominated rock band Relient K will be playing for the opening of Kyle Field.

This has been the problem with LSU's halftime shows for a while now. They've been going through the same 3-4 routines for the past 5 years or so. The fans routinely joke about seeing the Latin Flare show or the 1920's Broadway show for years now. Those are real things btw. We've done those shows multiple times the last few years. If you've been to every LSU home game in the past 4-5 years you've probably only seen about 4-5 different halftime shows.

Why? It's something different and semi-entertaining.

A Christian band performing at a predominantly gay university? Interesting

Is this supposed to distract fans from the ongoing #decline?

Gelled hair and terrible t-shirts. Could they be a more perfect game than LSU - UF for One Republic?
