No you didn't. You were trailing and trying to win late. Unless you gave up a hail mary or field goal as time expired, you didn't lose on the last play.

Pick your poison.

Slugfest or shootout.

Which will be?

Great job by LSU defense tho.

I mean no argument from me that LSU should not have been in the position they were in in any of those games, but I mean the whole oh you didn't lose on the last play. Well, yeah we actually literally did in those two games. It's just weird semantic game you're playing.

How can you lose on the last play when you were already trailing?

Both of those games were back and forth the whole time.

The point that people are missing is LSU is a decent offense away from kicking the shite out of Bama in that game and everyone else we played this year. Aranda is legit as frick. A good OC hire and LSU is ready to roll. Is it sustainable under Ed O? Not likely as Aranda will not be here forever nor will any OC we hire and the next guy in line may not be as good as the guy you are replacing.

Which is a fair point for discussion, but if people are going to give LSU's defense credit for making Bama's offense look pedestrian by holding them to 10 points, it's also completely fair to give Bama's defense credit for doing the same to LSU's offense. After the Auburn loss, LSU's offense tore things up against everybody except the two best defenses they faced, so it's not like the offense completely sucked and had they just had a decent coordinator, they would have beaten Bama. Bama's defense shut LSU's offense down, it didn't just hang around watching LSU re-enact the Keystone Cops. (UF, of course, was much closer to a comedy of errors.)

That Florida loss really chaps my arse. LSU was the better team they just didn't show up ready to play. I guess you have to put the blame on the coach in that kind of situation. Probably looking ahead to A&M on the short week.

Not to take anything away from Florida -- they did have a couple really good defensive stands in the red zone and did what they had to in order to be on top at the final buzzer -- but, yeah, they were pretty lucky to come away from that game with a win. Sometimes you're the windshield....

Moral victories. Seems that's all LSU has had in recent years.
