As an Ole Miss fan, I know where you are coming from, LSU. You are trying to rustle opposing fanbases because on the field you have little to hold your hat on. I'm a guy who likes to deal in realities, so let's clearly lay the last 365 days out on the table for all to see.
Ole Miss:
-Beat the #1 and #4 team in the country this season, made it to a Top 6 bowl
-Basketball team has won 9 of the last 10 and poised to make the tournament
-Made it to Omaha & finished in top 4
LSU:
-Rushed the field for beating Ole Miss
-Poised to make another NIT run
-Did not make it to Omaha

It's unreal how much attention is given to LSU on the SEC rant. For a program everyone says is in such decline it seems alot of people are focused on them.

Football - 3 National Titles. Ole Piss - 1/2 a title
LSU Basketball - 4 final Fours. Ole Piss - HA!
LSU Baseball - 6 titles, 16 CWS, Ole Piss - Finished 4th last year.
Yeah, I don't blame Ole Piss fans for bragging against LSU Fans. Looks like yall really stack up there.

Not saying LSU did well in football, but don't brag on a game that you got destroyed in.

How rest of country sees Ole Miss football and athletics in general.
Pre-Integration - respected, powerhouse program.
Post-Integration - barely a blip on the radar screen.

LSU beats down Ole Miss to ruin their super special season of the last 50 years and Ole Miss fans still talk smack.

Ole Miss
-Is in Mississippi
Pretty much disqualifies Ole Miss from anything

This is stretching the truth a bit..
The only #1 OM beat was Alabama.
It was at the time of the game and only in the coaches poll so that's what I looked at.
Using the coaches poll at the time of the game, OM beat 3 ranked teams: #1, #4, and #14.
Average rank #6.3
Miss St. also beat 3 ranked teams: #2, #7, #8.
Average rank #5.6
#6.3 < #5.6
Almost even, with Miss St. looking slightly more impressive.
Now I wouldn't make this argument as I watched the game and the head-to-head says otherwise.
So by using the same logic, head-to-head rather than ranked wins: LSU > OM.
