I think LSU breaks out the brooms and sends South Carolina to the baseball NIT as the Tigers clinch the SEC title once again on the Gamecocks' home field. The only question is whether the fans of the once proud program give LSU a victory lap around Alex Box East.

Not a prediction, but I need USCe to go 3-0, 2-0(rainout), or 1-2.

It is like LSU fans forget where they were in 2006 and 2007.

ETA: LSU takes the series 2-1.

I'm not hating on LSU either but for our sake I want them to go 0-3

When was the last time they clinched the SEC title on the Gamecocks home field?

You should remember it because for a year after that season State fans were so excited they beat LSU in the SEC tournament.

Based on your posts, I'm not really sure it can be said you keep up with any sports.

or 1-2.

If LSU goes 1-2 they will win a share of the SEC regular season title as long as Vandy doesn't sweep.

That said, LSU takes 2. A sweep is likely if Bain can get the W tonight.

It is unbelievable but Florida is still in the SEC title hunt if USC sweeps and we sweep Auburn. Highly unlikely I know, but with one series left we can finish anywhere from 1st to 7th.

Today is our best chance. Wynkoop has been unreal his last 3 or 4 starts.

LSU goes 2-1 IMO. If LSU wins first two, they will play a lot of back ups and rest some starters on Saturday for final game. I imagine some guys could use it. Depending on langes arm, they may even push his next start back to the first game of the sec tourney if it plays out like this.

No sweep, but Tigers win series for sure.

He will be going against LSU's Sunday guy as well. If LSU can pull out a win tonight it sets up nicely for a sweep with Poche going tomorrow and a by committee going on Saturday.

If USCe takes the opener, which I'm expecting, Poche will still go Saturday and Lange will likely go Sunday.

You also need A&M and Vandy to lose too.
