Pretty good read. Since returning starters, alone, is such a common statistic thrown around in the offseason, I think this will help give a better picture on how much it will actually make a difference come playing time.

quote:

1) LSU (+9.4 PPG change)

12) Tennessee (+5.9 PPG change)

29) Georgia (+4.4 PPG change)

35) Missouri (+3.9 PPG change)

40) Vandy (+3.3 PPG change)

67) Texas A&M (+1.4 PPG change)

73) Arkansas (+1.3 PPG change)

81) South Carolina (+0.2 PPG change)

83) Ole Miss (+0.2 PPG change)

85) Auburn (+0.1 PPG change)

90) Kentucky (-0.2 PPG change)

94) Florida (-0.4 PPG change)

101) Mississippi State (-1.3 PPG change)

104) Alabama (-1.6 PPG change)

NOTE: Context is key with these rankings. For instance, even though Bama is dead last in returning experience, a -1.6 PPG has really no value. They're still going to be really good and Mizzou will still likely be pretty bad even though they are projected to have a +3.9 PPG.

At least that team has the least amount of starting experience returning

But, I think the point change speaks for itself

Did you take the Gump dick out of your mouth for a few seconds to type this or are you just that good at multitasking?

Bama will lose to both Tennessee and LSU, then they play each other in the SECCG. I will tone down my positiveness and just say I like Tennesses chances.

And all of your players are experienced at getting their arse handed to them by Bama AND LSU, and finishing with at least 4 losses every season.

A&M returns 87% of its defense, which places more importance on that side of the ball in the algorithm

Bama fans love knowing that if their sister/cousin can't satisfy them, Aggy sure can.

I'm not sure Florida can afford a -0.4 PPG change. They only outscored their opponents by 4.9 points last year.

No excuse this year, then. L5U should win it all.

If there was any year to win it, it would be this one.

It's all on Miles' shoulders.
