LSU, The Melt, and Why it is Ridiculous

LSU lost. The offense was stagnant and 1940s-ish. The QB play was lacking. The Head Coach was typical. LSU fans are melting... And it's ridiculous. They act like they are a historically good college football team... Aside from McClendon and Saban (and Miles' success with Saban's players) you guys are middle to bottom tier in the SEC. Welcome to restoration. Welcome home.

I can't believe Alabama thinks they are a historically good college football team... Aside from Bryant, Stallings, and Saban Alabama has 0 NCs since WWII. Good for middle to bottom teir in the SEC

How dare fans of a top 5 team that is picked by almost every media outlet to be in the playoff be upset over a loss to an inferior opponent.

Reason 1000 not to buy into preseason hype polls.
Also, you have no idea if Wisconsin is inferior (obviously they weren't).

The melting about Les Miles is the worst. I'm a huge LSU fan but I can realize that our players just aren't that good. For the past ~5 years, everyone on the Rant seems to think we somehow "have the best talent in the country", yet we get beat by teams that the same people claim have subpar talent.
There are peaks and valleys in this sport and we are in a valley. We simply do not have a solid team (but we have teh Rivals 5 starzz!!)

It's ridiculous cause they all believe football started in 2000 and that they are an elite program that has recently fallen. When in reality they are a so so program that had a decade or so run of success.
