I've been going to SEC games for 40 years . The only place I was ever physically assaulted was Starkville, 2007 .

The only place I've seen someone assaulted was in Tuscaloosa. A girl broke a beer bottle over my buddy's head after the game in 2011 but he called her a whore so I guess he sort of deserved it.

I've been to lots of LSU games in the past and I'll be honest there's fights everywhere but it's usually them fighting amongst themselves and not with other fans usually. It's kind of weird.

I almost got jumped on 2 years ago after the game. Went back to one of those fancy tailgates that a company keeps watch over while you're in the game. Started digging in the wrong chest for some ice for my whiskey drink, that's when things started getting real. Some of the State fans were still a little butt hurt.
On a side note though, that's one of the few LSU wins that I've walked out of and the LSU fans were more upset than the opposing team.

I remember a guy was walking through the junction after that game in a big foam purple and gold ten gallon hat, and he got knocked out. Wasn't you, was it?

I was with five guys in the MSU section - all around 40 years old, all LSU grads, all professionals or business owners . Three kids behind us were pissed we existed and threw drinks at us and then sucker punched us from behind.
One of our guys from Seattle who might be the nicest guy I know took out two by himself. An MSU fan ( who posts on this board) who is a really big guy joined in from below and rushed in to grab and hold another of the kids for the cops . One got away sans shirt with cops chasing him. When the cops took the two kids away - all the MSU fans cheered, they were on our side. Starkville peeps are good peeps . Again, shite happens when college age kids drink.

You're not being honest, you're being full of shite. I've been tailgating at LSU games for 20+ years and I've only seen a handful of issues (not even all out fights).
I'm sure they happen occasionally, but to say "everywhere" is 100% disingenuous.

Most LSU fans arent what you see in the video nor like the guy that commented this statement.. Just a bunch of drunk kids (Frat Boys) doing what they do best and that is starting trouble...Then the idiot hit a guy that was just trying to stop the fight not the guy he was actually arguing with

Typically State-LSU fans get along fine.
I think LSU-Oxford Jr College and LSU-Florida are where the civility breaks down because neither likes the other.
