So you're rustled that Auburn fans (and basically everyone besides bama fans) supported UAB.

You evidently do not understand the word "supported".

Auburn fans do not support UAB in a sense that it would help the program, i.e. attend some games. UAB, to some, is the "anti-Alabama". Therefore, anything that falls into that category, would be viewed favorably by Auburn fans. There's no further support by Auburn fans to UAB, they will still continue to not attend any UAB athletic event.

Mississippi had the worst education system in America and you only go to Miss State to grow grass, work with cows, or make fertilizers. Louisiana has a budget crisis but so does majority of the other states in the south. This has zero to do with football and doesn't effect athletics at all. Football is self sustaining. You state fans need to figure if you should give football up for good now that Dak is gone and you have zero chance of winning a conference game next year.

Well, actually.....if you think about it.....if you grow the grass, and then let the cows graze on the grass, you'll get instant free fertilizer. And that's actually pretty smart, you know....

If you live in Conway, I've always hated your town. Makes my trips to Myrtle Beach take an extra hour due to the traffic through town.

I was told that debt was just from the football team.

Political BS. New Democratic Governor wants to raise taxes like ALL Democrats. This was a bad political move that he will regret.

What a dum shite when LSU football contributes millions to academics. Shut down football and now you are 47 MORE MILLION in the hole.

Not to mention what it contributes economically to the State.

JBE is letting his liberal show: let me scare the shite out of you so you'll give me more money that can be mishandled and pissed away. If he was worth his salt, he would make the decision that needs to be made and close several failing universities around the State to protect the ones that aren't, cut down all the State's contracts, reign in entitlements, and cut government agencies down to size...but we all know that's not going to happen.

Auburn fans will rally around the LSU team and keep them from folding.
They were successful at UAB.

We will have to save all the smaller instate schools as Bama fans fear of instate schools grow.

Guess he should've gone the Bentley route and threatened to shut down state parks or something. Went with the nuclear option too soon.

LSU Art professor: "SHOW ME DA MONET!"
LSU Head football coach: "SHOW ME SOME ... Kentucky Bluegrass, Featherbed Bent, and Northern California Sensemilia hybrid please." [spoken in his best Carl Spackler voice]

Lolz. Remember when all the LSU posters freaked out at the insinuation that getting the $40 million for Les's buyout wasn't as seamless as A&M's boosters raising he entirety of LSU's endowment in less than a year? A&M raises close to a billion dollars without blinking an eye and swamp kitten boosters couldn't come up with a couple million. I knew the low crawfish prices ruined the cajun economy last year but I had no idea it was this bad.

Yet your athletes can't stay eligible if they can't attend class. Swamp kittens are so adorable when they try and put on their thinking caps.

This literally has nothing to do with that. Tiger Athletic Foundation was planning to foot the bill. They had the money to do so. This issue is in regards to major cuts made by the Louisiana government over the period of 8 years that has left all public institutions of higher education in ruins. This lead our newly elected governor to fear monger Louisiana citizens into calling their representatives and telling them to sign off on raising taxes.

Now go play in your sandbox and let the big boys do the talking
