Saw something yesterday about possibility of moving the SC game to Baton Rouge. Is there really any serious discussion about that happening?

There's a real possibility your mom dropped you on your head as a child several times

I think what he's saying is that it's been discussed several times on here today and there is more than one thread about this already, just search

The game will be in Williams Brice. The water will be gone by Wednesday. Did some homes flood? Yes, but things will be fine by Friday.

yes. There is a chance it could be moved. Terrible flooding. Columbia is pretty much under water.

The 2004 LSU vs auburn game was moved from auburn to Baton Rouge so there is president that a conference game has been moved.

Do you think they'll need approval from Precedent Emmert, first?

Only place this has been discussed on the internet is on tigerrant... and it was laughed at and called "dumb" there. Why would USC agree to transfer the game to BR? And furthermore, how could BR prepare with 5 days notice, tickets, police, concessions? It is not just dumb it is ....
Honest question... is this just another poorly disguised schedule complaint? Such as ...
"Why do we have to play at 2 PM?" ... or
"Why do we have to play Florida when Alabama gets to play Georgia?" ... or
"Why do we have to play in the SEC West? ... or with referees that aren't homers for us?" ... or
"Why do we have to play in the SEC when the headquarters is in Birmingham?" ... or
"Why do we have to play No. 2 ranked Alabama rather than No. 3 Oky State?" ,,, etc.

Calm down little pony. Especially since I just heard a radio report that water and basic services may not be available at the stadium by game time. These decisions usually involve public safety and health concerns, not a random question from a fan base that rustles your jimmies. No water, no game. No need to melt down over some pretty common sense speculation.

If it does get moved, I imagine it would be to Charlotte.
I haven't heard anything about this other than on here though. Not saying it won't happen.

This is so true. Can you imagine the furor that would come out of Baton Rouge if this was reversed and there was talk of moving a conference game from Baton Rouge.
SEC HQ had this planned all along
Not only did they want us to move but Ritter....
ALL of the people that work at SEC HQ are Bama grads
It was 12 degrees cooler in Columbia which caused a problem with our players acclimation to the cool air.
and last but not least- ...Tailgating sux here, USCe fans weren't drinking and it was 8 AM. What a bunch of pansies.

I am guessing this is some sort of troll but no it wasn't lol. I remember it vividly driving up I-65 and seeing all the trees snapped in half and billboards leaning on their side. End of that game pissed me off more than any other road game until the next time LSU played their in 06.

Officials with the city of Columbia say many residents are without water because of water main breaks. Officials say in a news release that greater downtown Columbia and southeast Richland County are the areas most affected.Customers should be prepared to be without water for three to four days. The city will have an update at noon Monday. Earlier, the city issued a boil water advisory for all of its 375,000 customers.
If it's a public safety issue (ie-no water/toilets in stadium) they will move it or reschedule it. My guess is that they would play it in an empty stadium, before cancelling it if they can't find an available venue. Hopefully things get sorted out in the next 48 hours.
