Have killed Bama the last couple of years. Just re watched the games from the last few seasons couldn't sleep) and noticed LSU got a lot of 3rd down conversions off QB runs on 3rd down.

This could especially be an issue with Fournette on the field.

Ya especially since Harris is much better than Jennings and Mett

Harris' feet are a weapon. Sometimes underutilized, but he has been able to use them on 3rd downs when pass rushes are their most aggressive.

Could definitely play a factor in this game.

Harris is the best runner we have had at QB in a long time.

He becomes extremely effective when he slips a pass rush and takes off because you can't let a lb key on him with LF on the field.

Not to change the subject but Coker has wheels himself and unlike most quarterbacks punishes defensive backs. He has probably been told to avoid as much contact by the coaching staff, but he is definitely a weapon that the Tide has been missing.

If Coker has such a threat to run the ball then why did they start cooper at ole miss citing his ability to run?

Cooper was supposed to keep the ball on the read and choked, he kept it 1 time. They altered the play calls because he wouldn't keep the ball. The whole reason he was in there was to run the ball and he didn't.

Tide will roll, front 7 is too stout.

I've noticed that on Coker as well...it was like since they benched him for cooper, he set himself to prove that he can be a runner too.

Their quarterback killed them in OT last year by not scrambling

It's what I couldn't stand about Jennings. Dude was athletic enough to run but he would just stay in the pocket, even when the play had already broken down.

Bama qbs have done this to LSU as well when the play breaks down the last few years.

I think it comes down to Harris for LSU. Harris seems to be his most dangerous on 3rd down especially on 3rd and long. This season he has thrown for 1098 yards and 506yds have come when LSU is facing 3rd & at least 7. His ability to scramble and/or come up with the big play will be the factor in the game if UA can not contain him on 3rd down.
