I don't understand why this triggered so many folks, but thanks for the entertainment.

That doesn't seem that crazy in a blowout. Georgia also played 17.
The only difference is we HAD to play many of them. They were our starters due to suspensions, etc. They are the reason for the blowout. It's nice to see.

I wish the dumb shits in our fanbase would zip it for once. LSU has not proven anything yet and has much more to do to overcome the recent past.
Even the least of our ranks in the SEC is better than BYU.
I support this post. Delusion sets in with a win against a team who only put up 20 against a Portland State.

Looking back, only 4 started. For some reason I thought that number was 7.

Yeah, so glad we don't have anyone like Debo Jones or Duke Riley anymore...Those guys sucked.
He never started Debo or Riley. Debo barely got on the field until his senior year, after Chavis was gone

never said anything about them starting. I'm not defending Chavis, just saying just because a player is "small" doesnt mean they can't be successful in Aranda's (or anyone's) defense.

Bama only played 8 but by all accounts this is the best class Bama has ever signed.

Everyone thinks they have the youngest team because they play freshman, but all team do it now. The days of redshirting the freshman class are over. I think UGA redshirted 4 of 25 last year, and it will be about the same this year.
This
You most likely get three years with a player and losing one to red shirting isn't gonna happen much anymore.

They both took 3 and 4 years to fill out and finally get playing time...

BYU would beat Florida and A&M.

Average of 100 underclassmen the last four years. 74 in 2013, 63 in 2012, 40+ in 2011, 28 in 2010.

2010 to 2013 isn't the last four years. I am assuming by those numbers that you are talking nationally and not specific to the SEC.
Those numbers avg out to a little over 50 a year. Considering how many schools play football those numbers aren't that bad.
The GREATER majority stay four years or more.
