Ole Miss has LSU at home after a bye for Ole Miss. They're in the driver's seat.

Slow down....lots of football left prior to that game.
Just like last year, it could still be Bama.

Ole Miss straight up vs LSU
But I think the Rebs are more susceptible to a let down or two.

If Laremy Tunsil is back, OM in drivers seat.
No Tunsil it seems like 50/50.

Most likely Bama or LSU. OM always chokes. Don't expect to see Bama play that poorly again.

Ole Miss' lack of a running game and LSU's dline depth leave both vulnerable. It's amazing how quickly fortunes change, so the picture could be a lot different in a couple of weeks.
I say LSU, though, because I'm a homer.

1. This is way too early with too much football to be played.
2. With that said, I'm RELUCTANTLY giving a luke warm endorsement to Ole Miss. Reasoning? They seem to have superb lateral speed and were consistantly getting penetration up center of the Alabama O Line. I know there is the LF and the stable of RBs for LSU, but the Rebs seem tuned to smash running attacks. I simply don't know if LSU can throw downfield comptetently only because they haven't nor had to.

This game may surpass the 2003 matchup. Going to be a good one for sure!

When was the last time Bama turned the ball over 5 times? I can't remember. Very sloppy. I don't expect to see that again. Of course, I didn't expect to see it last night either.

Both OM and Bama looked horrible last night. Very sloppy game. Both scored in situations that were just plane bizarre. I wasn't impressed by either team. It will be interesting to watch these teams and see how they do down the road. Both teams have glaring issues.

Long way to go but for now I say Ole Miss. I need to see more from our passing game in case Leonard has a bad game or gets hurt.

The turnovers weren't nearly as bad as the 3 or 4 plays were they refused to cover any receivers. Swag kelly is writing a new rap song as we speak
