Both have known miserable awful quantities as basketball coaches. Both have somewhat unknown quantities as football coaches.

That is a good question.

Didn't both LSU and Mizzou beat Arky in football?

But Mizzou is definitely hitting a floor right now.

You have no room to talk about "worse" coaching duo's, hoss.

Bert has 10 SEC wins after 4 years.
Curley Hallman (the worst coach in LSU history) also had 10 SEC wins after 4 years.
Curley got fired.
Bert has about a 15mil buyout and is laughing his arse off at you fools.

Coach O took a demoralized team, that lost to Bama for the 6th time in a row, into the hills on NW rKansas and beat Bert and the pigs like a redheaded stepchild.

Mike Anderson took UAB to the Sweet 16 in his second season.
He took Mizzou to the Elite Eight in his third season.

After 5 years at rKansas he has only been to the NCAA tournament once and did not get past the second rd.

LSU has Matt Canada and Dave Aranda in football. They don't have to have a great head coach.

Lol keep thinking shite like that. The firing of Les and hiring of O set LSU up for a downswing. Every great program has them and LSU isn't special. It reminds me of Tennessee firing Fulmer.

The firing of Les was because he was the main damn problem. He would not let his assistant coaches coach. It was either his way or no way. And his way was 1950s run left l, run right offence that a 5a high school could shut down. So yeah, I think we will be better off.

The strength of your new head coach is "he has good coordinators." Coordinators leave for better opportunities. It's up to the HC to keep it going, and the LSU HC has shown that he isn't very good. That's concerning. The idea that "we don't need a good HC" is

Well I'm not worried about down the road, all I'm worried about right now is this year and for now we have Canada and Aranda. Once again I believe we will be fine. Oh and our recruiting hasn't dropped a bit.

LSU fired Les for not beating Saban often, even though he beat Saban at a much higher frequency than just about any SEC coach. LSU believes they should be an Alabama level program. Saban has had a ton of coordinators at Alabama (some very good, some kinda bad), but one constant has remained. If you're "only concerned about next year," that is a bad mentality. LSU will not be a CFP caliber team next year and they will still have Orgeron beyond that.
