I think the Bama machine is too good for lsu. But for once, the coaching is not a liability. The staff are game and clock aware and there's just less chaos. Aranda and O are also very good at making adjustments. It will be a chess match at least for a little while.

I think this is where the optimism is coming from. Decider is talent and depth and Bama should handle LSU though it won't be a cake walk.

I'm being completely objective here btw.

LSU is the best team in the country. Hopefully Bama can keep it close.

I honestly think the LSU coaching staff is going to overthink this game (Passing too much, trying too hard to spread us out, etc).

Throughout the offseason, I'd basically penciled this game as a Bama win.

Now? I'm not so sure. Bama really has not played a good, complete game in that stadium in a long time.

I'm concerned about that too. By the time we find some rhythm, it may be too late. LSU will need something on the ground though.

The problem with recent matchups has been that our strengths play into Bama's hands. We're traditionally run first and pass off playaction. That's true now even as we're executing better. Bama will not allow the run game to thrive and we go 1 dimensional again.

Everybody knows Ed O is one of the brightest minds in CFB. A true intellectual savant, X's and O's mastermind.

I don't know, but if we spot them 10-14 points early, it'll be ballgame. This isn't one of those Mississippi schools.

They did not play a good game at all 2 years ago. They won, yes, but they were very lucky to even force overtime.

Maybe not a liability but it will be a weakness compared to Bama's staff.

Of all the times Les Miles would do Les Miles stuff it never seemed to happen in the Bama game. We usueally played pretty well.
