So LSU fans really think that firing him 4 games into the season is going to turn this team around?
You don't have an Offense, getting rid of the OC in the middle of the season won't change that.
This is the kind of logic that exists in people who have expectations far greater than reality.

Dipshite, this wasn't done with thoughts of "turning this team around". This year we'll have guys play hard for Coach O and we'll win a few more games, maybe some we shouldn't.
This was done because after his reprieve last November, he promised to change, and he blatantly, arrogantly, and stubbornly broke that promise. I took the Wisconsin game as a giant eff you to lsu admin and fans. I drove up there with my son expecting to see his promise delivered, and walked out wanting him gone.
So he got fired. Period.

Les finished second in one to many football games

History will tell us whether it was a good or bad decision. However, just like with UGA last season, I think LSU was "stuck in the mud" so to speak with Les. They weren't going to ever be really bad under him, but the weren't going to reach a championship either. 2016 just confirmed that.
LSU could certainly do much, MUCH, worse than Les. However, LSU knows they have hit the ceiling with him and will now take a chance on doing better.

We understand the risks. Every school who does this is vulnerable. No one is immune to a coaching decision mistake. However, LSU is 4-5 in their last 9 and I believe 21-13 in the SEC dating back to 2012. 15-11 dating back to 2013. We don't really have a choice.
Of course you had a choice. Even at his worst Miles was still better than all but a few. Can you get someone better? Maybe, but there are no guarantees when it comes to coaching changes unless it is Saban or Meyer and they aren't coming to BR. LSU absolutely had a choice rather than to fire him after 4 games which is usually reserved for programs in utter chaos or coaches who are an embarrassment. You chose to not only fire Miles but to humiliate him.
What's odd to me is unless you are hiring Briles then why do this? Everyone else is not even going to interview until after the season is over. I'd imagine all of the schools with hot coaches at risk are drafting raises and extensions now.
Sorry, but the "we had no choice" but to fire Miles Mid Season argument because MIles was winning but not winning enough in the past couple of years (while recruiting very well) is ridiculous. It may work out but it may also be a disaster.

Ravens won the super bowl the year they fired Cam mid season.

Nobody thinks this. There are reasons to fire your coach in the middle of the season.

imo. LSU is just as appealing as both of those teams.
We have the big SEC on our jerseys and the talent to compete.

Who thinks this? Sounds to be like you are attributing your stupidity on others.

Firing Miles was a big mistake.
When your head coach is a Moron, it's not a mistake to fire him, provided you can replace him with someone that's not a Moron.

Wait a sec...you're calling a coach who won a national championship for your school a moron?

Not my school.
Yes. Les Miles is a moron. LSU was nice to let stick around for so long.

Good thing LSU does not listen to you because you are clueless.
