Even Chris Chinea's wonky eye can see that the future doesn't look all that bright for Tigah Baseball.

Tops money went out 2 months ago and isn't scheduled to go out again until August for the fall semester. This is nothing but a publicity stunt.

Just let them have their fun. This board thrives off of the uninformed.

I don't find anything humorous about the entire situation. Lots of kids and parents are probably extremely nervous right now over this. I refuse to participate in the lolsu fest that is occurring

Ahhhhhhahahaha

Louisiana politics are too advanced for the simple-minded fools on this board....

TOPS isn't going anywhere and neither is our baseball prowess

Enjoy those NCAA sanctions reggieray!!

Hopefully TOPS cleared for most students already this semester.

I think this will be resolved by the fall. TOPS for sure needs some adjustment, though. It is silly for so many kids in Louisiana to get to go to college basically for free, with such easy requirements.

TOPS did what it set out to do when it was created in the late '90s. I don't think it has completely run its course, but it has run its course under its current format.

We take care of our little bros. Just ask A&M & The Lone Star State and will help you out.

Damnit Sarge... You are gonna start making me like you...

We have a 2billion dollar deficit in our state
TOPS is only 28million dollars of that.. which is nothing

In perspective, our shitty capital area bus system is a 250million dollar drain that nobody uses and is complete garbage

The tops pull was a political ploy by a die hard republican who hates our democratic governor

Yeah, I would think all Texans should feel the same way. We all know why this is happening and it's going to impact far more than Louisiana and Texas soon enough. I'm involved in the industry and am all too familiar with the grim forecast.

Exploration is what always takes the hit. Refining, not so much.

And kudos to the Aggie Chancellor for sending out that cautionary letter on Petro Engineering a couple years ago.

Well yes, because demand is fairly constant and wear and tear is unavoidable. Upstream is basically shut down, but prices for downstream are so low that you have to manage everything to near perfection to make anything these days.

Yea, at this point. We have bigger issues than sports.

What? 70% of the roster is from Louisiana.

Locking down the state and not having another power 5 school in the same state.

Lou fans harp on locking down Louisiana.... But losing in sate scholarship money is not a big deal..
