LSU is not getting Jimbo

I know there have been a lot of threads about this, but it needs to be said. Why would Jimbo leave FSU? Money? The best you will do is get Jimbo a raise if you offer him.
LSU is a GREAT job, but Jimbo is not about to leave a fertile recruiting ground with a relatively easy path to the championship. It makes no sense, especially if he has aspirations of coaching in the league someday.
Stop being delusional! I mean the best you could do for a D coordinator is Kevin Steele. Kevin fricking Steele for a team perennially loaded with NFL talent. That should tell you something.
I understand it’s frustrating not to beat Saban, but Saban is the greatest coach in college football history. Yes, even better than the Bear considering modern competition and the limitations Bear Bryant didn’t have to face. I mean Urban faked a heart attack to get away from Saban! Urban could see the writing on the wall and moved to a place where it would be easier to get to the championship.
I think you will get a good coach but it isn’t Jimbo. Good luck.

LSU boosters made overtures to him in 2012 that were well received. It's not a guarantee, but there are a lot of intangible reasons why it may happen that you aren't aware of.
Miles wanted to keep Raymond and Orgeron. Pretty big concession for a DC to take.
