And they should, it sounds like Les is leaving, and I don't blame him.

Setting up just like AU at the end of 03. The only difference being there was a huge backlash from AU fans and the media for the way it was handled. LSU fans seem determined to go through with the disastrous scenario though because they believe some pipe dream that Jimbo has already accepted the job.

It is "literally bad" for the rest of the SEC west. The Mississippi schools are ..... well ...... located in Mississippi which limits their upside. Arkansas is in the middle of nowhere and Saban is old. LSU is upsetting the apple cart. Going to be a sad next week for the rest of the SEC. We know what it's like to come in second in big games. You guys will get used to it.

I forgot to mention auburn and Texas am in my last post which tells you where they are in the pecking order. Those 2 teams should contact the coaches LSU does not keep so that they can move up to middle tier.

Criticizing bad decisions is one thing, but Les is highly respected in the media and has been at LSU.

Wrong. I'm caught up in the statistical aspect of Miles being extremely successful in the toughest conference in the country.

Sure, it's hard to ignore his total record as a coach, but what non-LSU fans fail to recognize is the ineptitude in many aspects of his coaching for most of his career at LSU.

I guarantee you that if we were at least competitive against Bama in the BCSNC game in '11, and we showed some semblance of an offense these past few years, we probably wouldn't be having this discussion. There's really no excuse to have an offense ranked 94th or worst 6 of the past 7 seasons, with a roster that leads the country in NFL players. It's almost unbelievable. I was shocked when I saw that stat, even though I've watched this inept offense every game. And that's with 3 different offensive coordinators in the time span.

Ask me how I know that you never read / saw anything after 21 - 0 or Tennessee 2010...or Ole Miss 2009.

I agree he's taken heat and rightfully so, but he's never been ridiculed by national media types. They love him. That's why LSU is getting hammered. Some even see the reasoning, it's the classless way it's being handled that people are shaking their head at.

I keep hearing this.

Tell me, how is firing your coach supposed to be handled?

Again...ask me how I know that you never read / saw anything during the Ryan Perrilloux or Jordan Jefferson incidents.

Make the call and quit letting it be trial by media. Control the message. It's really not that difficult.

Why don't you just link it for everybody instead? It still won't change what these guys think about how this is all going down.

You realize no LSU officials have released any info right? All of this has been spurred by 1 or 2 boosters, some message board posters with "sources", and the media. It's actually almost impossible to control.
