LSU how did you only beat LOLburn by 2?

I mean seriously. We were up 28-0 before they got a first down. Yards were 200 to -8. They're Charles Barkley turrible. Didn't see the game. What the frick happened?

Our team hadn't given up by that point in the year.

We hadn't given up on our season at that point

it was before auburn gave up. they played defense like banshees that game and our OL was just beginning to experience the rash of injuries that killed us the first half of the year. losing your starting LT and then having to keep looking for a replacement meant shuffling the line all teh time.

Fumble on the goal line and the other fumble that gave AU a quick score a couple plays later forced Les to go ultra conservative.

Les Miles, Les Miles, Les Miles. LSU started off hot and took a 9-0 lead, then Mett fumbled, Auburn got a TD then Miles went into the ultra conservatve offense that plagued LSU for weeks. I think there was 4th and inches three times in that game at the 50 yard line and the offense punted every time. The playcalling was so conservative in that game it was sickening.
