I'll give him props, he's not afraid to say what he feels. Most coaches would answer with traditional coach speak.

How did Saban not shut down that offense? Dave Aranda did after one quarter

Got bored at the end and wanted to give Uncle Verne a good Oxford send off so we let them go from 20 offensive pts to 36 in like 18 seconds.

It's true. Bama secondary is vulnerable and that was before the injury Sat.

The question is can Etling take advantage of it? IMO he isn't accurate enough. I think he throws a couple of picks.

One of the things that has endeared him to us. Especially after years of the hit-in-the-head-with-a-shovel style coach speak Les used to spout.

Does it really hurt their feelings when we call them corn dogs?

LSU and the media are feeding right in to Bama's hands. You know Saban and his staff are just showing Lynyrd highlights all in the weight room, etc. Hyping Lynyrd up about how great everyone thinks he is and the best CFB player, ever. Now coach Yaw Yaw wants to add a little fuel to the fire.
Awesome. Use it Bama, use it. If they die, they die.

Probably not. That's not really bad of an insult. I'm sure he has much worse shouted to him at opposing teams stadiums. Also, I think he's an adult and not everyone has to break out into an MMA fight just because an insult is thrown.

It's not his accuracy. It's the length of time it takes for him to get the ball out of his hands.

its so funny how many Bama posters' lips quiver and eyes tear up when someone doesn't kiss their rear end.

Pretty much did after the first quarter. OM's offense put 17 points up in the blink of an eye. After that, between the 4:40 mark of the second quarter and the 2:59 mark of the 4th the Ole Miss offense scored 6 points (they also got a defensive TD during that stretch) and Bama build an 18 point lead.

A couple of things conspired to make the final point total less than appealing from a Bama standpoint. The first and biggest was that Reuben Foster, Jon Allen, Minkah Fitzpatrick, and Eddie Jackson all got dinged and weren't in the game for the second part of the 4th quarter. Bama's deep, but that's pretty much the entire defensive leadership gone. The second was that after OM scored with less than 3:00 left in the game, Bama failed to secure the onside kick letting them score again and get a back door cover.

If those two scores in the last 3 minutes of the game don't happen, it looks very much like their games against FSU and LSU where once they blow their load in the first quarter they're finished for the night.
