The more surprising stat is that Florida only has the 14th highest winning percentage in college football since 2000. Even if you exclude it to just Power 5/BCS Conference teams, Florida is ranked just 11th in winning percentage. The Zook/Muschamp eras really did a number on them.

I think I'll post it in the 9-10 Alabama threads created by LSU fans today.

As someone started earlier, that's a good reason to fire your coach.

UGA is 170-65 in that time.

How have we played 15 more games in same number of years?

Looking at Stassen? Something's wrong with that site. They've played something like 8 more games since 2010, according to Stassen. Which isn't correct at all.

We lead every all-time SEC football team winning statistic by a large margin. Why would we want to set an arbitrary timeline date?

That doesn't even make sense.

I would think that the weight of the world is on Michigan fans.

Since the modern era started in 1998 hasn't every blood blood at least played in the national title game except for Michigan.

Surely having the most wins wouldn't take that weight off of Michigan fans.

At 168-52, only Oklahoma, Ohio St, and Boise State have better records.

Pretty impressive. Out of curiosity I checked Bama over the same period. 165-59 and that includes seasons of 3-8, 7-5, 4-9, 6-6, 6-7, and 7-6 (a record of 33-41 across six seasons with DuBose, Fran, Shula, and Saban all having 7-6 or worse records during those 6 years). Considering that horrific stretch, I'm fairly surprise that Bama is one of the top 5 records over that stretch.

Now do one with records since the year Saban came back to college football, or since Meyer came to the conference and Spurrier came back and see how the records look then.

And every one of those 52 losses should have been wins.

Well, except for maybe 10 or so. That 31-0 shellacking by Alabama in 2002 and the beat down from Florida in 2008 come to mind. Also the 2004 Georgia destruction. There are a few others.

Did Bama get that this year for the NC game? I mean, they really barely participated so was it really deserving?

Getting shutout, having less than 100 yards of total offense, crossing the 50 only once, and being defeated by 21 points is what barely participating looks like.

Losing by 4 on a last second TD is not what barely participating looks like.

LSU has best winning percentage in the SEC by shotcaller1

Because football started in the year 2000. Typical corndog

WTF is a corndog? I thought this thread was about LSU, not Nebraska or Iowa.
Or maybe it's something Georgetown fans eat for Sunday dinner.?

1. The thread specified 2000, in case you couldn't understand. Fourth nationally is just what it reads - 4th nationally.

2. LSU is one of only two teams nationally to win at least 8 games every year (incl. ten 10+ win seasons) and go to a bowl game every year since 2000.

2. LSU is 11th All-time nationally in number of NCAA victories in CFB history.

ELEVENTH.

And 8th All-time nationally in bowl appearances...

Correct. It would be nice for the Bama fans to say, "Congrats, LSU. You guys have had an amazing run since 2000. Way to represent the SEC in that time period."

But nooooooo. The gumps can't have any accolades go to LSU.

All of the attention they had went down the drain last Monday because of a pick play they couldn't cover.

Quit crying. Always talking about somebody riding Bama success but you LSU fans are the first one to bring Bama up.
