They can prove all the Bama hype was just that, and they can win the SEC and play for it ALL. But even with a loss to Alabama they can still make a strong case to get in by winning out and ..dare I say it..get a REMATCH with The Tide should they do the same.

Karma. But if they lose Saturday win out and get left out...it will be worse than Chernobyl.

I would love it but the rest of the college football world would be up in arms if that were to happen.

I don't see enough teams losing out for two teams in the sec to make it this year.

Good point and wow, what a scenario. All the smack over this game is VERY entertaining. Saturday can't get here soon enough.

I'd really like to believe you if we do lose a close game. But I don't think we're going to get the same Bama treatment like you guys from the media in 2011.

Only Bama and Notre Dame can loose and still get it. That is just the way it is. Total B.S. but we all have to accept it. Only way to get in is beat Bama Saturday.

Why is Florida so much further back with just 1 loss.. yet their only loss was to the #2 team on the road with a new qb..

Florida has been more impressive against common opponents..

The rankings are crazy.

There are more worthy teams with no losses, and if any other SEC team had 1 one loss they would not be ranked in the top 4.. not even with the same schedule and results.

It's as simple as this. Alabama lost earlier in the season.

FL Just lost a few weekends ago. They have had less time to rebuild their resume. While a win over an overrated, and at the time undefeated UGA catapulted Alabama, FL's win over UGA was much less significant with UGA having lost to both Alabama, and UT.

I've been saying the possibility of a loss Saturday then a rematch for the natty is very real and a good opportunity to give a great "frick you" response to Saban for a while now.
