56-4 is no joke. Sucks Walker got hurt, but those cats whipped our arse regardless.

We cant fricking hit. Or pitch. Or field simple ground balls. Don't forget about the base running issues from the other night. But hey, at least we got on base that night. We got bailed out by an FSU team that shouldn't have even made the tourney. This has been a completely different team, the second they landed in Omaha. Insane.

You guys are in Omaha, and still have a chance to win it all. That's much better odds than most of the conference.

Their bats are relentless. The announcer actually said it best.

When they smell blood, it's bad news for the other team

It has been bad for sure. But Walker getting hurt has fricked us period.

Poche, Lang, and then what? Gilbert just got burned. I assume Hess.

Let's say we even get that far, what do we do after Hess throws? Man, this was a disaster all

I'm hoping for Poche wednesday, Lange friday, and then walker will hopefully be able to get healthy enough to throw. If not, Hess no doubt.

If we make it further, I guess it'd be just committee. We still have Bain and Reynolds with no innings yet.

Would be best case for LSU, especially if Poche can give y'all 7 solid

Yep no doubt. Got our butts whipped. Hopefully we can come back and make up for it, but tonight wasn't pleasant.

That's the plan for sure.
But we just now used everything to get to the title series if it playes out like that

Man, frick!!

Yeah this is insane. Weak arms outside of our top 4, a DH that has nudes of our coach, a lineup that can never stay consistent, and a SS that is more interested in what kind of cleats he can get custom made is a bad recipe for success in Omaha.

It's not just their bats. Did LSU have less than 3 hits in any game this season?

I thought Oregon State benefited from a weak conference, but they look unstoppable tonight.

Their pitcher only has 3Ks. I don't know if he's just throwing junk we can't hit solidly or if we are just swinging at garbage.

Baseball can be a weird sport sometimes. Put this game behind you and get ready for FSU. One game at a time.

Our lineup is extremely inconsistent. They could come out tomorrow with the same lineup, against the same pitcher, and put up a dozen. I don't get it. Shitty to say but if you look at our last few games, we only put up runs in 1 or 2 innings and get shut down the rest. Fortunately, the amount of runs they put up in that inning or 2 is usually enough to win.

Yea man I know. But on the biggest stage, another collapse. An embarrassing one. Hopefully Poche can duplicate what he did the other night to FSU and our bats happen to come on.

It's too bad Poche pitched the other night.

I'd have liked to see how he would fare against this offense.
