What is the story on these two? How long is Teuhema going to be out?
Is there any clarification on Key's status? Is he only out right now because of injury or the other issues?

Teuhema just got suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules (something along the lines of academic conduct).
Key is practicing in non contact drills. His rehab for his shoulder is way in advance. I expect him to miss the first 2 games. Hopefully i'm wrong.

One more question- how is Maea pronounced? Me-uh, May-uh, May? Me? My? Mo? Ma?

Key is practicing, Teuhema is suspended (and probably safe to assume his career at LSU is over)

Broke team rules. Also rumored to have grade issues. Have no idea how long he will be out.

Key is recovering from shoulder surgery. The coaches say he could be back for game 1 but realize that it could be later than that.

Just seen Teuhema is suspended indefinitely. Don't know the exact reason yet. Arden Key has been doing drills with the team. I would guess he would be there for the State game at the latest from what O is saying, but who knows.

That sucks. How is the depth there?

Bad. We've lost a lot on the OL whether to the draft, transfers, suspension, and kids quitting football.

Thanks fellas, appreciate it. Nice to get solid answers and not "LSU ALL THE TIME HU BAMMER" answers.
Good stuff

At least it is guard and not tackle, so maybe a young talented kid can step in and at least be a solid power run blocker.

LOL - well played. I knew in general it wasn't great, but wasn't sure specifically about guard.

IMO, we've basically got a bunch of OG and 1 OT (Deculus). Our OL is a mess. If no one gets hurt, we should continue to be a great run blocking team but our pass protection is going to be poor.

No problem. I've come to realize that you are one of the good gumps.

We could afford to lose a guard, tackle is where we are very thin. Our starting guards even with Teheuma gone, should be very very good (Brumfield, Campbell).

We all have our moments, but I generally do try to act like a civilized idiot. And I like hearing about situations like this straight from folks who really know their team, not some idiot from CBSsports or ESPN.com.

BTW, the latest rumor from the rant is that Jacoby Stevens is moving to the OL.
