First trip... Brother-in-law is a Florida fan and driving in from New York on Thursday. Hitting the road Friday afternoon.

I will be there real early Saturday am...taking 12 yr old stepson to Museum of Natural History, which is awesome, he loves history....anyone going with likeage child/children let me know and I can give a somewhat guided tour....after museum its a very short dsrive to Lake Alice and watch the gators....can walk to stadium from lake and its free if you park right.
Have seen a number of big games with LSU and looking forward to this one. Have visited red stick also for night games. Love the food!

Just an FYI, but I doubt you'll get a spot on lake Alice if you're going to the museum first on Saturday.

I went in 2010 and had a good time, but watch out for their police they'll getcha for open container laws if you are wearing opposing teams colors.

Going bright and early Saturday. Taking a few guys who have never been to the Swamp, should be a great experience for first timers.

GPD and UPD hate opposing fans. A-Holes on game days.

First trip here. Any suggestions on tailgating, bars, places to eat, etc. in Gainsville?

I always go to the bars right by the stadium.
Plenty of good food.

My 10-year anniversary of my first trip to the Swamp... 2002. LSU won 36-7 and Mauck got injured late in the game and ruined the rest of our season.
Sure hope the score is the same but that no injury occurs this time.

Like I mentioned...going real early to museum and always find parking by the lake.
