LSU fans who went to the game, how was your experience?

The stadium seemed really fricking loud on TV, even with the shitty weather that had been going on all day. Anyone have any problems with fans (LSU or Alabama), or anything else?

I imagine it sucked fricking dick watching the team roll over like a bitch in person.

I saw one drunk fraternity Bama fan yelling at the LSU band. Some middle-aged female LSU fan then grabbed him and yelled "Whip that tiny dick out! Let me see that tiny dick!" Other than that bizarre sequence of events, everything I saw was civil.

Always a good trip no matter the game's outcome. Never had a problem going to Bryant Denny or Legion Field.

Lots of piped in music and Scott Cochran yelling on the TV monitors. I could do without both of those.

As the streak grows, less and less LSU fans make the trip. I think thats unfortunate because LSU fans are a blast to party with and usually can give it and take it better than most fans Ive encountered. Some friendly shite talking prior to the game and many LSU fans bailed around the 4th quarter. Some more shite talking of a decidedly less friendly nature after the game but no fisticuffs that I saw.

I had a great time. The weather was what it was, but I just pregamed hard enough to not care about being sopping wet all day. The fans were pretty nice. No bad experiences there. They pretty much just left us alone and let us do our thing. I would have liked to see a little more hospitality like visiting fans often receive in Baton Rouge, but I'm certainly not entitled to such so it's okay. The bars were packed (and $40 cover), but we had a good time at Houndstooth. The stadium was large and even from the uppers, it was deafening at times. I was very impressed. It was the last SEC West stadium that I had left on my list and was probably my most enjoyable experience. I look forward to going back. I wish the game would have been more exciting, but you guys have a great team and we just weren't quite who we thought we were.

The weather really killed the tailgating experience, which sucked because I wanted my BIL to get the same experience I've had in the past. We were the only tent with power since we snuck in a generator, so that helped.
Fans by us in the stadium were good, which I expected since we were in the faculty section. Didn't really have much to be mean about anyway.
The piped in music was awful. We were right in front of the speaker and I only heard the MDB at halftime.
Game sucked, obviously, and it was as cold as a witch's titty in the south uppers with the wind blowing right at us.
Good overall experience, as usual, minus the game, as usual.

Honestly its rare that the bad experience occurs in BDS other than the piece of shite game plan les miles rolls with. The good bama fans are really the only ones that can afford tickets or make the trip to tailgate. The problem with bama fans isn't really in the stadium or when they travel.

It's been a weird series. Basically split since 2000 but one team usually has gone on a several year run other than 2007-2011.
I swear if LSU can't win it at home next year with what we'll have returning they may never win again until Saban and/or Miles hangs it up. 'Course I'm sure Bama fans felt this way until Nick showed up in '07.

Do you know JBeam? He was in Tuscaloosa too, and was at Houndstooth some at least on Friday night. Glad to hear the assholes were kept somewhat at bay.

With each loss, we die a little more inside. Coonasses are a proud people and this five game skid does not sit well with them. We usually start to eat our own at this point and that is exactly what is happening.

I find the piped in music a little tacky at times as well but the little honey in front of us was grinding away to it so it wasn't all bad. I thought it would be a better compromise to have the band amped though the speakers. The contrast between the music and the band makes the band seem so weak. I can't even hear them really.
If you go to several games a year the music gets pretty old to be honest. Or maybe its just I who is old...

Stadium was loud.
Music piped in felt like I was in PCB at Spring Break.
Fans were fans. They told us to sit down, tried to high fiv us when Bama scored and we had some shakers get too close in our face. Plus after the game we had an older black couple and a 13 year old future frat star yell at us about LF7 and the Heisman.
The rain was not good but we made the best of it during tailgate time.
I give it a 7/10.

We got season tickets in 05 with no wait. I think there is a 10 year wait now so yeah, no fan base is immune from apathy. Except Green Bay maybe.

I said the same thing to the guy next to me and he agreed. Would be awesome at most stadiums to do that I think. There was just so much rap, which I guess pumps up the players, but I always preferred the uniqueness of a band for college football games.
I did get to hear the LSU band some since we were opposite their section, so that was nice. I wish we had brought the full band.

I agree with you on the piped in music.

Like people yelling "tiger bait" in your face and tossing piss balloons at the visitors section?
