LSU Fans, what can you tell me about Derrick LeBlanc?

UK just reportedly hired this guy to replace Jimmy Brumbaugh (DL), who moved to Maryland to be the co-DC.
Saw that he was your S&C guy from 08-11. He is the former PRCC DL/DC, so he'll be replacing Brumbaugh as our JUCO recruiter, I guess, but I don't know anything else about him.

Here's his bio. He was a assistant s&c coach. Our s&c is known widely in his industry as one of the best. He taught Scott Cochran who is prob the best in the business now. Should be a solid hire for you guys. With that said not many if any LSU fans have heard of this guy. Not that it's a bad thing most fans don't know their head guy much less assistant

He was there when I worked with the lsu football team. The players LOVED him and would do anything for him. He actually helped Coach the d-line from a far as they are not suppose to be involved directly in coaching due to NCAA rules. But he knows his stuff and most of all will be able to motivate your guys and get the most out of them!

You're getting a good guy. He worked under Tommy Moffett, one of the best. Glad he's getting a chance at an SEC school....

Went to school with him in Breaux Bridge. Nothing of value to add to his coaching or recruiting ability but he is a very good dude. Glad to see him moving up the ranks.
