I'd rather them get Jimbo than Herman

Ok, why do you think his seat is so hot?
A plethora of reasons, one being losing to Bama 5 times in a row, but not nearly the sole reason.
I'll make it easy to understand, if we would've beaten Arky and Ole Miss we wouldn't be having this discussion. It's not all about Bama.

This isn't really an issue since Jimbo and Kelly contacted LSU,and not the other way around
Yes because that's exactly what coaches under contract do. They pick up the phone and start calling around about job openings, even when no job opening currently exists. This is why coaches have agents. Agents do all the talking collect offers and then present the interesting ones to coaches. It gives guys deniability when dip shits ask have you been asked about job x. If you are dumb enough to believe the head coach of FSU has agreed in principle to become the next coach at LSU before the regular season ends, and before Les is officially fired then I don't know what to tell you. Furthermore, if you think LSU has offered the job to another coach without officially firing Les and knowing full well what happened when AU tried that shite, then you are going to be incredibly disappointed.

You lost to Arkansas and Ole Miss BECAUSE you lost to Bama.

You seem bitter. Guess I would too if the hope of my schools success rested on the head of Jimbo Fisher.

Because of coaching. Bama is one game chief.

If jimbo is out, I guess LSU dodged a bullet based on responses from SECR.

Lol I'll never forget that you're a UF grad who roots for Bama

Jimbo about to get a huge raise, but it won't be from LSU. Jimbo would be insane to leave his nest on the ground at FSU.
Tigers need to have a plan B.
Tigers need to have a plan B.

plan A- jimbo
plan A B- chip
plan B- Herman
plan C- Fedora
i think the ultimate fallback would be a guy like sonny dykes. jimbo looks to be a done deal but we've all seen movies like this before

Bro, Les Miles will be unceremoniously fired on Sunday, and on Monday, Jimbo Fisher will step down from his legacy job and get on a plane to Baton Rouge. They already have the coaching staff in place. LSU will keep all of their recruits and all of FSUs. Joe Alleva and Co. have just pulled off the smoothest, greatest coaching change in the history of college football.

It's Patterson then Kiffin.

You're "They" is not the majority of LSU folks. I don't think Jimbo is a better coach than Les. Better play-caller but not overall better. I'd rather see Les stay and get a more college-ready OC than see the program hire a lesser guy. Certainly not the only one who thinks that way.

I'd rather bring back Miles if that's the case, brah.

Let's say they don't take the job, which I don't think either of them do for a multitude of reasons.
Who do you like that is a realistic candidate?
If they can Les without a big name already in the bag then they deserve the ridicule and scorn of the entire CF world. I'm assuming they arent being that stupid.

These endless Les threads are most pathetic shite at trolling. The LSU people who post don't do the hiring and firing. Y'all are freaking retarded.
This is exactly right. The stupidity coming from Alabama fans mostly at this point is astounding, even for them. LSU fans are reacting to a situation we have no control over. We are simply watching this play out just like you are - just like we all do every game and decision made by people that we do not know and have no influence over whatsoever.
The vicarious superiority that Bama fans feel because of Nick Saban giving you a dominant football team is both hilarious and extremely sad in every respect.
We are all just observers. You are too. LSU fans are trying to make the best of a crappy situation while Alabama fans (and others) act like they are personally responsible for their success and our failure. THAT is the greatest definition of delusion on this board and to see it, just look in the mirror.

As an LSU fan i would like to keep miles with the condition that he doesnt interfere with offensive play calling then hire a new OC. Les is a tremendous recruiter and produces the defenses that can win championships, but is unwilling to change his offensive philosophy.
That being said, stoop from Penn St, Chris Peterson, whoever that guy is at Northwestern, another Michigan St head coach, another Oklahoma ST head coach, mike leach.
All the above listed guys have proven that they can produce with less talent at a high level.
The key is recruit talent and develope it. We dont develope QBs and as a result when the run game isnt dominant we lose badly.
I have no illusions of back to back anything at LSU. No one is going to dominate saban over a 3 year period without a lot of luck and bizarre turnovers and plays.
