Do you have the pitching to make it through to the championship series?

What's the projected rotation?

I know the team won't quit and will be out for blood if they can get a rematch. Would love to see y'all ruin OSUs season and meet UF is the championship series.

Put a little baseball Gris Gris on dey doorstep.

With Walker out...unlikely.

Some bullpen guys would have to pitch out of their minds and they have been far to inconsistent all year.

It's possible but unlikely. We will need a few breaks to make it through.

Walker hurt is a disaster.

Oregon State is down a weekend guy as well, but LSUs pitching is so thin. It's why they couldn't win a midweek game.

No. It was borderline with Walker in the rotation. The most reliable arm in the bullpen down the stretch was Gilbert and he's hit or miss. Newman has lost whatever it was he had.

If Poche/Lange can go 7+ and give the ball directly to Hess they may have an outside shot at winning the next two.

Even if we get to Friday with Lange on the mound I don't think we have a chance. Lange gets in way too many 3 ball counts and this OSU team will work him for a lot of walks and poke 2 RBI singles right over the infield. Walker was our best shot at OSU and looks like he's done

33 of the last 36 champions won game 1. Very difficult to come back, according to history. Not impossible but with better use of Poche, they could. But, they would have to beat OSU twice.

So did LSU. I understand your point, but I'm not sure you do

LSU beat Florida State in their first game. Let's try to keep up now.

We basically have 4 pitchers now that can be counted on. We have to win 3 games in 4 days with those pitchers.

Basically Poche and Lange need to go 8 innings each. Get a great start from either Hess or Gilbert and whoever doesnt start has to be good out of the bullpen and probably multiple times.

So to answer your question very likely no.

If Walker can't come back in any capacity, LSU is done even if it squeaks out the next 2 wins with Poche and Lange.

Solid outings from those 2 plus a little luck with Walker back are the keys to advance.

Very very doubtful. Without winning first two chances are less than 5%

More than likely no with Walker out. LSU needed a little luck and good pitching from the 3 starters and bullpen. With one starter out it will be very difficult but we did get some luck.
