LSU fans and their obsession with bama

Every year we go through the same process. This is the year, it's happening, game time, why can't we score, our offense blows, our qb is awful, fire "insert head coach", we won't win until Saban leaves, we getting all the recruits, this year is our year. Just own it, y'all are going to be mediocre most of the time, besides the anomaly of competing for an sec championship every once in a while.

I have no problem with them being confident, but some of them are unrealistic about the Gap between LSU and Bama right now that what makes it's so awesome. Some worry more about trying to discredit anything Bama achieves than making actually threads about LSU football.

There isn't a fan base in this conference that would trade 5 year stretch that ended with 2 division, 0 conference & 0 national titles if it included 14 total wins in the other 3 seasons.

It boils down to a few reasons
A) Thier fanbase as a whole is the closest thing to Bama's
B) Bama more or less supplanted them as kings of the conference. It was there only run of that kind
C) 21-0/Old Coach/etc.
